Mécénat Ménestrel - Voix

 

Janelle is fortunate to have an endowment fund, Mécénat Ménestrel - Voix, which supports her performance activities and music ensembles, Ménestrel, and ArtChoral quartet, thanks to Mécénat Musica.

Mécénat Musica is a Canadian cultural program unique in the world created by donors for donors in 2013, to create permanent capital for cultural organizations of the donor’s choice, to ensure their autonomy and financial security forever, thus ensuring the health of Canadian culture today and for generations to come.

 

Donors make a once-in-a-lifetime contribution of $25,000, which is matched by Mécénat Musica, philanthropic families, and government support, resulting in approximately $80,000 of support added towards Mécénat Ménestrel - Voix's major permanent fund. For donors in Québec, this gift can cost as little as $5,425 after special Quebec tax credits.

 

Also, the net cost of a $250,000 donation of public company shares, under the Mécénat Musica program, can be as low as $5,800.

This individual gesture becomes a collective movement that transforms Janelle's performance career, and the professional singers she engages through Ménestrel and ArtChoral. Thanks to generous donors, we, artists, can continue to dream and share this music with you.
